1941 Collier's Magazine Simoniz Car Polish "Pre" WWII Ad

(This product has a limit set to 1 item(s) per order)
This is an ad for Liquid Simoniz Kleener.
It's 10 3/8" x 13 1/4" and is in a plastic sleeve with a cardboard backing.
It's not mounted to the cardboard but the cardboard provides rigidity to keep the ad from getting wrinkled.
The opposite side of the ad has a Dole Pineapple Juice ad and shows the date, Collier's for July 19, 1941

What I find unique in this ad is the wording used. 5 months before the united states entered WWII this ad states FOR DEFENSE of Your Car's Beauty and in the text on the right it says. There's a constant "air raid" on your car's beauty. Bombed by acids, dirt and grit. Attacked by gases, scorching sun! The Finish hasn't a chance to survive this blitzkrieg, unless Simonized.

Clever of Madison Avenue to use the War in Europe to sell, sell, sell to the American public.

Ad is in excellent condition the reverse side has a Dole ad.... it has a small stain on the upper left but doesn't transmit to the Simoniz side.

Free Shipping is included for this item in the United States.
