1930's-1940's Chrome Split Wheel Artillery Wheel made into Umbrella Base

(This product has a limit set to 1 item(s) per order)

This Umbrella base is one of a kind. Was found in an attic of an old house.

This is made from the inner portion of a split wheel Artillery Wheel that was common in the late 1930's - mid 40s

An acquaintance said after looking at it that is was made from an old artillery wheel probably from a 1930's Chevy truck.

It is chrome and the stand tube with the 3 bolts to secure any size umbrella pole is welded to the base and another chrome piece slides over the stand tube.

It measures 8" tall and is 14" from edge to edge, most likely from a 15" or 17" complete rim.

Inside diameter of the mounting hole on the base is 2 3/8" and is 6 1/2" deep.

It weighs 11 Lbs 7oz.

Underside of the Wheel has stamped on the metal what looks like a Key Icon & PAT NOS also some numbers.

Stand is in great condition but there is some light surface rust on the chrome piece that slides over the welded stand tube.

I'm guessing if your the creative type, it could also be used during the Christmas Holidays as a tree stand!
