This is a 1920's era watering wand. It's 26" long and has an adjustable wooden handle the turns it on and goes from very fine mist all the way to a straight stream. Wood handle is 5" long including the metal ring holding in on.
When handle is all the way open to straight stream it shoots about 25 ft.
Works flawlessly! Everything inside is brass so there are no seals to wear out.
Tested it out and used it to water my Garden Tomatoes.
Nice patina with with only minor scratches and nicks.
The only markings is the word Friend on the side and the metal that hold the wood handle on has Made in the U.S.A. and the Number 5029A
Above Made in the U.S.A. (see the Photo) is part of a marking. I tend to think it may have been the makers mark
